With this year’s EGR B2B Awards’ Software and Network category, Evolution Gaming has claimed the title Live Casino Supplier of the Year for the 11th consecutive time. The company has beaten 12 other shortlisted B2B companies, continuing its award-winning performance year after year since its founding back in 2006.
The EGR B2B Awards is officiated by Deloitte, the UK’s accounting giant. The EGR B2B Award’s Software and Network categories include the title, Live Casino Supplier. Different providers are judged based on key criteria such as product development, user interface and experience, innovation, understanding of customer needs, and jurisdictional compliance.
Having been hampered by the current pandemic, this year’s prestigious awards ceremony was completely transformed from its usual in-person celebration into a virtual format. The winners were announced through a three-day online streaming event between Jul 21-23 2020.
After the ceremony, Evolution Gaming Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Martin Carlesund commented on the company’s growth and success stating that the past 12 months have seen the company push the boundaries of what is possible in the Live Casino Industry. He also commented that despite the very challenging situation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, this has been the most encouraging year for the company as it has continued to develop and introduce new ground-breaking products. He also added that the company has introduced 12 new games during that time period, a record for the company.
He further added that the company’s exclusive and unique game show games portfolio still continues to grow with new title additions such as Mega Ball and Crazy Time, becoming immediate favourites and major commercial successes. He also added that the company has continued to reinvent and reinvigorate classic casino games for the next generation of players with games such as Lightning Baccarat, Speed Blackack, Power Blackjack all joining the already highly varied and entertaining portfolio of both live and first person games. He also added that the company has put in place foundations to expand its operations with the construction of its new studio located in Pennsylvania, which is only just one of the new studio developments in the company’s pipeline.
Martin Carlesund concluded by saying that collectively, Evolution Gaming is extremely proud to have retained this prestigious award. He lauded his employees by saying that the company’s employees have worked tirelessly to deliver an exceptional Live Casino experience for players and extend the company’s position as the number one Live Casino supplier. Lastly, he said that the company has always been extremely loyal to license compliance and in turn, these regulators are always receptive to new ideas that will enrich the gaming industry.
This year has been a hit for Evolution Games. In addition to this recent award, the company was also awarded at the Gaming Intelligence Awards earlier this year, winning Casino Supplier of the Year and Game of the Year for its game Monopoly Live. Furthermore, Evolution has also been awarded Online Casino Supplier of the Year at Global Gaming Awards and Casino Content Supplier of the Year at the EGR Nordics Awards.
