BetMGM, a joint venture by MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings Inc., has announced that Jamie Foxx, an Oscar award-winning actor and singer, will be the new face of its new marketing and advertising campaign.
This new marketing push by the operator is dubbed as The King of Sportbooks campaign and it seeks to promote BetMGM’s offerings across the United States. The operator has partnered with 72andSunny New York creative agency to launch the campaign off the ground. The campaign will star Jamie Foxx in multiple advertisement channels. Foxx will also star in a notable advertisement stunt, where he will be levitating around the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief marketing officer, has commented on this marketing campaign expressing that this is the next step in the company’s brand-building process. He also lauded Jamie Foxx’s ability to tell the brand’s story uniquely in a way that captures and entertains audiences. Prevost also expressed that BetMGM’s brand is positioned between sports and entertainment, making Jamie’s involvement in this campaign an exciting one.
BetMGM’s marketing stunt may pay off in the near future as Jamie Foxx is no slouch in the film and entertainment industry. He has many awards and recognitions under his belt and these include his Academy Award, British Academy of Film, Television Arts Award and Golden Globe Award. He is also a two-time Grammy Award Winner in music achievements which includes best rap solo performance in 2006.
This latest advertisement move from BetMGM comes after its latest partnership deals with Las Vegas Raiders’ and Detriot Lions’ NFL teams. This is also after its latest partnership deal with NetEnt, a Swedish igaming provider. The partnership will allow BetMGM to offer its customers new and popular titles courtesy of NetEnt, allowing both companies to further expand their reach in West Virginia’s newly regulated market.
